5. FIREDOOR
22-33 Mary Street __ Surry Hills
At Firedoor we work instinctively with fire in all its forms and seasonal ingredients. Our kitchen uses no gas or electricity. We have two wood-fired ovens, three grills and a wood-burning hearth. Our open kitchen allows guests a clear view of the action that unfolds in the kitchen.
6. MAYBE FRANK
417-421 Bourke St __ Surry Hills
A traditional Italian wood-fire pizzeria and small cocktail bar. Our first venue opened in Surry Hills in November 2015 and the second in Randwick, November 2017. The dough he creates for Maybe Frank is a mix of pure passion and tradition, resulting in a pizza that’s easy to digest with a delectably crispy texture.

16 Foster Street __ Surry Hills
Situated in a turn of the century warehouse with a large open central kitchen and bar, Nomad is all about bringing together family and friends in a laid back yet beautiful atmosphere. We have a full time baker preparing our breads every day fresh for you – from our sourdough to our brioche.
8. NOUR
490 Crown Street __ Surry Hills
Nour is built on a dream of presenting classic Lebanese flavours in a fresh, exciting way. We’ve all seen what the beautiful tangy tenors of pomegranate molasses do for a salad, we know that we can mould meat on a stick and cook it over coals to make it pack a punch of flavour and all power to the sultry eggplant that shines when dressed as baba ganoush.
