The Newmarket development is over 5 hectares in size and will be an unprecedented offering in Randwick, providing 642 residential dwellings and approximately 2,300sqm of commercial/retail accommodation.

It also connects residents to the surrounding landscape and the community’s new 5000 sqm central green spaces, gardens and existing mature trees.The retail sector will boast an F&B precinct which will be carefully curated with some of the best operators nationwide. Service operators include small-format supermarket, boutique bottle shop, hair salon and professional offices Newmarket Retail is where the village comes to life, this exciting new destination sets the benchmark for lifestyle benefits. Thoughtfully interpreted for the next generation, it remains an iconic and serene location in the middle of Randwick.

Established in the early 1860s, Newmarket has been a significant part of Randwick’s racing heritage since its inception. The Big Stable was built circa 1887 on the peaceful southern boundary of Figtree Pocket where it has housed thousands of racehorses over the last 130 years. Now it begins as part of an exquisite precinct in Randwick’s most desirable new neighbourhood. The Stable will be dedicated to Council and available to the community for public use and boasts 1500 sqm in open space that works with the site’s heritage and the new apartment buildings.
